The Challenge:
Understanding attitudes and behaviours around sensitive subjects like sex has always been difficult for researchers. Traditional methods risk bias, embarrassment, or underreporting, leading to unreliable data and missed insights.
The Solution:
Using Clickscape®, panellists were simply asked to click whenever they thought about sex. The simplicity and discretion of the wearable meant participants could record real thoughts and moments without judgment or intrusion.
The Impact:
We discovered that men think about sex an average of 18 times a day – twice as much as women – with mid-morning being the only time their thought frequencies intersected.
A striking 89% of participants felt comfortable recording this topic, rising to 95% of men, showing Clickscape’s power to unlock honest data in areas where traditional research struggles.
